Video Tutorial Response Blog

After viewing the video tutorials I was surprised at how easy it was to imoive. The themes were helpful in making dynamic transitions and looking professional. I also found the key-burn tool useful because it allows you to control where the picture is centered. I found that adding and removing audio was pretty easy once you figure out how to import files. It possible to create high-quality videos very quickly using imoive.

Power Point Walking Gallery

When I was walking around I really liked the pictures people would go out and select because I thought they were all interesting. I found the replace a face hilarious and the filters turned out to be pretty interesting. The mixes weren't too interesting but I still think that they were really good.

I think the most important thing that we have learned over the past two units is how to use the editing filters. The filters can make the project look completely different than the original. I think that we are becoming better and better are using the editing software. Most of us have learned a lot since the beginning of the term. I think everything we are learning will be useful in the future.

News Podcast review

Even though I was rushed in this assignment I found that I did reasonably well. I found that it was entertaining to create this podcast and I actually enjoyed the process. I think that it would of been much better if I had more time to record and gather more pictures.

They could put this on air but I wouldn't suggest it because it was rushed and probably isn't of professional quality. I don't think this is what my boss was looking for but it we could throw it up if we can't find anything else. I did have to make corrections to it so I going to be turning it in twice.

Sound intro and Hearing Loss post

Sound travels in waves of varying frequencies, actually generating the sound when it strikes our ear drums. Sound is generally measured in Hz's with higher Hz indicating shorter waves and thereby higher pitched sounds. The opposite is true for the lower end of the scale and generates lower pitched sounds. Sound is also able to scatter when striking hard surfaces instead of bouncing.

The video followed the life of a man that has lost his hearing to the point of almost being deaf. It also shows us the hearing aid he now uses and how he got to that point. I'm just wondering when if we'll have to develop more technology to counterbalance our increasing noisy world.

Photo Shop Assignment Post

I think the clone tool was the most tool because it allowed me to remove the flaws from an altered photo. I found that the filters also help make the photo a little more realistic.

iphoto quicktime slideshow

I learned that creating a slide show in iphoto is a fast and easy process. The longest part was actually collecting all the pictures and importing them. Everything in iphoto is very easy to use.

Photo Editing Assignment

Welcome to my blog, which is rather uncreatively named Test Blog. I hope that I eventually figure out how to use this website. Hopefully it will entertain you until then.

I found that www.atomiclearning.com was rather unhelpful in its' video selection. It let you view two videos without subscribing and at least told you how to set up the program. I found that I was completely locked out of section C and pretty much all of the site. It wasn't very useful beyond opening the program.
